Most non-trivial coding I do I’m trying to push up to my GitHub account, so check there to get my latest original work. Any trivial code I write that I think might be worth sharing I tend to save as Gists.
Software I wrote/am writing:
- Parsor – A Program designed to take in HTML files, peel off the code, and generate metadata on the sentence-level text of the page. Originally written for Andrew Therriault.
Websites I created:
- OPARWiki – A MediaWiki I installed and administered for the Georgia Tech Research Institute Office of Policy Analysis and Research, designed to host the encyclopedia of Science and Technology Policy, a non-technical introduction to technical subjects designed with legislators in mind.
- PolicyExplorer (forthcoming) – A Drupal site designed to streamline the process of data analysis, publication, and visualization for OPAR‘s annual Legislative Landscape.
Software I’ve worked on (not as the primary coder):
- ifcSoft (google code)- I’ve made a few contributions to this, but this is a program written primarily by Kyle Thayer to generate and display self-organizing maps.
Agent-Based Models I’ve worked on:
- Kursk – This was my first, an Agent-based model which reenacts the battle maneuvering of the Battle of Prokhorovka (the tank engagement at the battle of Kursk), generated for INTO 8803: Wargaming in Spring 2011. I wrote a post about the model here.
Maps I’ve Designed:
- The Sailor’s World – A simple Map I designed for an assignment in my ArcGIS class. Rendered in yellows to give a feeling of a map printed on rum-stained leather (or something like that).
